EcoCloud shall be governed through constitutional stewardship rather than institutional control.
Governance exists to cultivate participation, protect constitutional principles and strengthen trust throughout the ecosystem.
Every constitutional office exists to serve the Members and the ecosystem rather than to exercise authority for personal benefit.
Section 1 — Constitutional Governance
The governance of EcoCloud shall be exercised in accordance with this Constitution.
No governance decision shall contradict the constitutional principles established within the Preamble or preceding Articles.
Every constitutional office derives its authority from this Constitution.
Section 2 — Stewardship
EcoCloud recognises stewardship as the highest expression of constitutional leadership.
Stewards are entrusted to cultivate knowledge, relationships, participation and trust for the benefit of the ecosystem.
Stewardship is measured through service, integrity and measurable impact rather than status or privilege.
Section 3 — Constitutional Offices
The Constitution may establish Trusted Offices responsible for advancing specific constitutional purposes within EcoCloud.
Such Offices may include, but are not limited to, Editorial, Verification, Research, Investment, Education, Industry, Youth, Innovation and other Offices established through constitutional governance.
Every Office exists to strengthen the ecosystem through service.
Section 4 — Country Governors
Each recognised National Ecosystem may appoint a Country Governor.
The Country Governor serves as the constitutional steward of EcoCloud within that nation and cultivates participation, collaboration, constitutional integrity and responsible growth.
The Country Governor acts on behalf of the ecosystem rather than personal interest.
Section 5 — Regional and Continental Governors
Where constitutionally required, Regional Governors and Continental Governors may be appointed to strengthen collaboration across multiple National Ecosystems.
These constitutional appointments exist to facilitate cooperation, resolve shared challenges and encourage continental advancement.
Their authority complements, rather than replaces, the responsibilities of Country Governors.
Section 6 — Constitutional Appointment
Constitutional offices shall be filled through transparent appointment processes consistent with the principles of EcoCloud.
Appointments recognise demonstrated contribution, trustworthiness, constitutional understanding and a commitment to service.
Every appointment carries responsibility before authority.
Section 7 — Accountability
Every constitutional office is accountable to the Constitution and to the Members it serves.
Governance decisions shall be transparent, justifiable and open to constitutional review where appropriate.
No constitutional office shall be exempt from accountability.
Section 8 — Constitutional Conduct
Every Governor, Steward and Trusted Office shall conduct themselves with integrity, impartiality, professionalism and respect.
Constitutional authority shall never be exercised for personal enrichment, discrimination or abuse.
Trust remains the constitutional foundation of governance.
Section 9 — Constitutional Evolution
The governance structure of EcoCloud may evolve as the ecosystem grows.
New constitutional offices, responsibilities and governance mechanisms may be established provided they strengthen the constitutional principles contained within this Constitution.
No future governance structure shall diminish the constitutional rights of Members established herein.
Section 10 — Constitutional Principle
Leadership is service.
Authority is responsibility.
Trust is earned.
Governance protects the ecosystem.
Every constitutional office shall exist to cultivate participation, strengthen relationships and preserve the integrity of EcoCloud for present and future generations.
