Your EcoTech identity is the starting point for everything you do inside the EcoTech ecosystem. Before EcoTech can understand which businesses you operate, which organisations you belong to, what documents you may access or what authority you hold, it first needs to understand one thing: Who are you? EcoTech therefore separates your personal identity from the businesses and organisations you may participate in. You are one person. You may own or operate several businesses. Those activities can change over time. Your identity does not. What is an ERT? An ERT — EcoTech Relationship Trust identity — is the trusted identity and relationship layer that helps EcoTech connect you to the people, businesses, organisations and responsibilities that form part of your EcoTech journey. It is not simply a username or login. Your ERT provides the foundation through which EcoTech can understand relationships such as: Person → Business Person → Organisation Person → Role Person → Permission Person → Document Person → Enterprise This makes it possible for EcoTech to know not only that an account exists, but also how that person is connected to activity across the ecosystem. One Person, One EcoTech Journey Your EcoTech identity is designed to remain with you throughout your participation in EcoTech. You should not need a new identity every time you start another business, join another organisation or take on another role. Instead, those relationships are connected to the same trusted person.
